I removed the Rolling Stone affiliate program totally. They
haven't updated this year, so it had to go. I still have
the personal invitation to participate in the RS program, another
EARNED honor, today as well. I don't borrow, copy
nor steal anyone's ideas for invitations nor awards, they
are given to me because I must do something right to acquire them.
And I print all of them as it is in my web design portfolio. Thanks
Byron & Lance for that heads up as well. Anyhow, major
announcement coming soon, watch that main page. Oh, you two
already know what it is, don't you? More jokes are on the way
I am sure, keep them coming, keep them coming........
As you told me 5 years ago, the REAL awards aren't achieved
because someone ELSE has them. NO ONE can copy the number
of visitors and supporters and those are the real awards when
it all comes down to it. And how do I know, how do I know.

Why Do Some Of The Awards Won Have Graphics And Others Don't?

I searched the internet for the award images
and that was all I found. If you know where any others are,
please let me know. I wish I could get to one of two
things: SHAGGY's actual 'door stoppers' case in photo
or to photograph him with each award in his hand.
It would have been nice to have a photo of him ACTUALLY
accepting all the awards when it was presented to him........

What Don't You Like About Your Site 'Di'?

Nothing. I treat my Studio like I treat me. I LOVE EVERYTHING
ABOUT ME!! Therefore, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT
MY STUDIO!! Granted... there's loads more that I want
to incorporate but hey... Mecca wasn't built in a day.

I See The 'Rolling Stone' Thingy Back. Why?

Between us, I think Rolling Stone Execs read my site. LOLRH!
I JUST removed it because they had not updated since last
year. Lo and behold 2 new articles appeared, out of the BLUE,
in the last 4 months. And so it is back because it looks good. LOL!
It does help that the Studio has been listed on SHAGGY's main
page since what feels like forever.

There Are So MANY Photos Pages. Just How LARGE Is This Site?

Including the 'Secret Hide-Away', it is toppling off around 75MB.
And that's small for an artist site, very small. There's no
plans for it to stay that small though, none at all. The next project
is sure to kick it over the 100MB mark before
the month's end I am sure.

What's The 'Secret Hide-Away'??

Wouldn't be a SECRET anymore if I told ya, now would it!?!? LOL!!

What Are 'Screen Captures'?

They are Di actually using a video capture device to save
a moving image for your viewing pleasure. There are folks
who will never see some of these videos and/or televised events.
The Studio brings them to you photogenic(ally).
Not a word, I just made it up, LOLRH!.

Where Do You Get The Cursor/Mouse Over Text From?

'alt text' (net name for it) is associated with every image
that is on anyone's page. What you use it for NORMALLY, is to tell
one what WAS there in the event the image/graphic/photo does
not load for whatever reason. People also use it to make
special notations, like I have. Unfortunately, you'll still never know
by my usage what was there should the picture not load. LOL!!
Sometimes I type it in, sometimes I don't. It is cumbersome but I do
try to make an effort. Plus I like to add my special touches
and wicked humor too. It is not required, it is a personal
preference for each web designer. Believe it or not, some folks
STILL miss it EVEN with the notation of it being there
on the pages it is ACTUALLY on.

How Many HTML Pages Are In This Site?

Hmmmmm.... (breaks out calculator....) 100 pages of photos,
15 pages of CD Covers, trivia pages, lyrics pages - each song,
Studio pages, their awards pages, ...... Anyhow over 400+?!,
I think. I really don't know. I stopped counting,
I just create'em, seriously. My graphics person has
700+, so I am off to beat her out. LOLRH! Her site is
on more folks than mine is.

You Wanted To Do A Site For/On?

No. I wanted to do a site on PRINCE BADLY!! But at that time he
and Warner Brothers were in a massive CONTROL war. They had
told him he could not use the name he was born with until
the war was over. He went ballistic on the net snatching everything
down with lawsuits threatened. And I am where I am today.
PRINCE is stil my fav. artist and I could do a website on him.
But, this is my last supporter site ever, I think for now.

Has Anyone Told You They Don't Like Your Site?

No one's that bold. LOL.... Seriously.... not on content, no. I have
people who don't like the colors, the design, etc. I can't find a person
who does not like the content anywhere. I mean I have/had folks who
want(ed) MORE, but never to complain about what is here already.
I have NEVER been asked to take something down either. I am sure
there will be a first some where though...

My sincere theory is like that of food you don't like.
Don't go to the grocer complaining you don't
like spinach if you don't. Why? What difference does it make
to the grocer who has a mega business? You don't like it don't
eat it, the end. And the same applies to the Studio.
You don't like it, stay the HE** out!
And this applies to people who don't like me personally either...
stay the he** away from me and things/people surrounding me too.

It Seems Like Such A User Friendly Site. It is Fun,
Witty And Easy To Use. Explain How You Did This.

I am a LIBRA at heart in ALL I do in LIFE.
And The Studio is a reflection of the person I am,
well not a Jamaican/Caribbean of course :P. My design is to ease
the massive strain 56K users experience in the getting in here.
I was once one of those users and I do understand their needs.
Less images and more ORIGINAL content is what it is all
about. I have been told that as a visitor, 'I don't want to see what
is ALREADY on the net. I want to see stuff I can't find anywhere else'.
And so this was incorporated from the DeLo site to this one.

I also visit other sites and I know what I like to see and feel when
I get there. Some site are filled with drama upon entrance,
and being who I am, I LEAVE fast. My guestbooks and associated
things do not have hatred about my nor anyone else's site in them.
They never have and never will. We don't have it here. What IF
the Crew DID actually see my site? Would I want them
to see that? Is that the reflection of ME as web designer
I want them to have? No and that's why it is what it is,
a friendly and fun site to visit.

My Bio... Oh...., Crew related. At first it was lyrics.
This is the topmost visited section AFTER the massive
photos section. Right now... everyone wants Crew bios
and more of their actual participation. All I can say...
one never know, do one...

The bios were known about on their end since last year. It was just
a matter of timing and scheduling. Patience, patience,
patience. It pays off in the end.

What's Your Perception Of Them Now?

Each time I meet them, a new respect level is earned. These men
meet and greet (sometimes) prior to a concert, perform 2+ hours,
meet and greet some more (sometimes) AFTER a concert and have
to get on a bus, plane, or whatever and move on and do it ALL
over again. Lack of sleep, food, personal time, knowledge
of where the next venue is (distance and location) and LOADS more all
are apart of the DAILY routine to give us the music. I realized they could
have went to their bus and been DONE with it all. NO, they took extra
time and care to give back what they rarely receive...
PERSONAL connection. It is an added touch of just how warm
but professional these men continue to be. You rarely get that
to see that side of people in the limelight who have
travelled extensively as they have. I am always greatful to them
for being who they are. I have met loads of people
in all industries, these men are the top of generous men.
