My site was designed for content not graphics BUT the Jamaica(n)
and Barbados flavor adds loads to making it more about them than
anything. I was FIRST and ORIGINAL in doing that as a supporter
website on March 8th, '02. Those of you who were here on March 8th
know the REAL deal. Pam my long time graphics extraordinaire
and friend of 5+ years through ALL site endeavors, ended up
donating her much loved and appreciated artwork to all my HTML
and thought process. I told her what I was looking for
and she produced. NO ONE else did my design but me in anyway.
I never copied ANY ONE's still and I still don't. Originality is what
I always strived for and stand for no matter what I do and where
I do it. I am not into keeping up with the Jones, I surpass their azzzes!

One Person Maintains, Designs and Updates This Website!?
How And Why?

Usually a site that encompasses more than one person require
2 or more. I never found anyone who held that same interest
in my city nor state AND into web design like or better than me.
If someone in my vicinity is interested all the way around,
please feel free to contact me. Otherwise, I feel I have
done good ALL BY MYSELF! And so do almost 50,000 visitors.

Di, I Want To Add A Newer Touch To Your Line From The MB.
You used to always tell us on the MB 'Come correct or don't
come at all' when I first saw you last summer. I know that had
to do with Shaggy and Crew's music but I am changing
it to fit another scenario. 'Come ORIGINAL or don't come at all!'

First off you sound mad. Why? I am not, I am GIGGLING
in fact. NO ONE can copy my experiences, my knowledge nor
my skills EVER! And no one can take them away from me EVER!
I am sure SHAGGY & Crew would find it complimentary that some
one does a cover of their song. But.... to do the EXACT same song
the same way, they'd go to court and win. Me, I can
only sit back and laugh at how MANY folks it takes and the time
to copy what I have achieved ON MY OWN and with no help.
I am proud of me and so are all my REAL friends who support
the work for the supporters and the Crew. And so I move on.........

You Act Like You Are the ONLY SHAGGY & Crew Site? Why?

When I came on board, I searched for sites
on the WHOLE Crew. I found pages here and there on SHAGGY,
not necessarily the Crew included. NO WHERE at that
time was it in existance. When I started, I had only SHAGGY
and I worked with that. As I became more kowledgeable ALL
of them were added in. Every site out right now can say
they started it based on what I had. Some sites even go on
to credit me with assisting them in whatever way
I did to add more SHAGGY & Crew dedications to the net.

Do You Have A Favorite SHAGGY & Crew Site?

Yes, the BEST supporter site as for ORIGINAL
design layout was Shaggy Digital.com. Too bad he stole
ALL his content info from MCA and did not credit them.
And that is a 'was' because MCA contacted him and he never
updated any more past May of last year. All the rest around
that time were label sites, Greensleeves, MCA, etc. and a page
here and there. That was all there was to work from
in Jan. '01 and it was good it was there. Now
everywhere SHAGGY info is because of the supporters plugs,
sites and HotShot sales as well. I know I am not
the only NOR will I be the last. I WILL make it ORIGINAL
and the BEST and that is my claim on it.

CONGRATULATIONS On Your 3 'IT' Awards. Those Are Hard
To Acquire Aren't They?

(Laughs) Hey I thought they were BUT... obviously the decision makers
saw an ORIGINAL design, WELL packed on content and layout site
and........ Thanks so much for ALL your support. And I truly
THANK the Spirit Above for the talent masked within me
to bring it to you all. 3 Awards, in such a short time was and still
is a blessing to what the supporters and I have accomplished.

What Happened To Your 'Thank You's' Page?

Well dang, where the heck did it get to?!?!? Since I don't see it, then
right here is where I will place it. First, I don't quote
the Bible if I don't really READ and UNDERSTAND what IT means.
And I like the Holy Qur'an better anyhow. So a tad differently,
'The Spirt Above is my Sheperd....'

Next, my family, blood & otherwise, and real friends who will ALWAYS
be there, I LOVE YOU immensely. Thank You SHAGGY & Crew,
just for being who you are REAL talent, REAL people.

What Is The Best Part Of Your Site?
What Is Your Favorite Section/Page?

MJ - ALL of my Studio is my favorite. Why? Because everything
in it comes from YOU, the supporter. Pages named by supporters,
items donated by supporters, items created by supporters.
This to me, makes it the MOST special site on the net in my mind
because you ALL created it's being. There were folks out there
over one year ago with vasts amounts of musical info and had no
place to see it or record it. And whallah, The Studio put it up
for them. SHAGGY & RikRok were even impressed at how much
music information we had in here vs. 3 of the label sites put together.

But true enough, 'SONGS' is the most musically geared section
of all. Those who contributed to it make that the most impressive
for SHAGGY & Crew and those who don't know all the songs, old
and new, riddims and such, done to date. People write all the time
stating they did not know The Crew had done as much. And that is just
group effort. Solo efforts of Chris, Sting, Robert L., Michael, Brian,
Tony, and Rayvon are forthcoming. Much, much more music
you may not be aware of from them. Hey, I am sure there
may be more, but not without Dancehallvibes, Daillest, Ante
and my knowledge if it is on the internet. Next would be 'SLEEVES'.
I know a lot of sales came from supporters actually seeing all the CD's
I own and of those who contributed their covers as well.
I personally assisted as well in shipped some, oh, do I ever know. LOL!

I Am New To Your Site. Who Are 'The Crew'?

Let me go back a bit here. When I first heard folks say 'SHAGGY's
band' or 'the Band', I wondered where the vocal artist were in that title
per his message board. 'Band', in my mind, is/was anyone
who plays/played an instrument. When Luther Vandross Tours,
they don't say, "Luther and his 'band'". So, I affectionately
named them the 'Crew' to give every one forefront and not
just focus soley on SHAGGY. And the name stuck still today.

The Studio also does the same thing as far as
TOTAL recognition & focus. SHAGGY constantly states'....
'SHAGGY is not just me, but.....' and therefore I assist him
with that statement. By making it more 'The Crew' site, we can
see ALL the multi-talented artists that exist within
'The CREW'. I still haven't figured out how to change the term
'back-up' singers when referring to Rik, Ray, Brian & Tony.
To me, again, they 'compliment or assist, never BACK-UP. So just
don't use that word around me, LOLRH!

Over A Year Later, How Do You Feel About SHAGGY? The Crew?

SHAGGY & Crew are an amazing performing group of MEN
who bring music to the ears of many. They've gone to heights
in their careers that are higher than ever before. I am more
into the older music they produced and have loads of CD's
to listen to as a result. SHAGGY is SHAGGY. He is a beautiful,
talented, smart, cocky, handsome from time to time, personable, warm,
overworked man. I have ALWAYS had a HIGHEST regard for him
since my concert. He treated me with respect and admiration of my work
as I do him. If we ever talked longer, days would go by. But then I'd
hope to be talking to Richard in this case.

The Crew, love them dearly. I wish we had more focus
of them in here. In time, In time. My perception of them has
NEVER changed, not with SHAGGY nor The Crew. We changed
turned our focus of the site into ALL of them, that's all.
So now, they ALL can see/feel that it is about them and for them
as well as the supporters who've dontated anything in reference
to them. It assists the supporters in donating to others in the Crew
because they see them incorporated more. People write
from time to time stating that is was not enough 'Crew' info
or focus. I saw that and acted on it as much as I possibly
could. I also saw that it was important to give
everyone space almost as equal to SHAGGY's.

Since, I know USA tours are being planned, I hope
some real close are in the works, real close.
I'll be first in line to get a ticket to all within my vicinity.

SHAGGY Doesn't NEED A Website To Let Those
Who Already KNOW About His Music Know More.

True, but almost 50,000 visitors wanted to see something, wouldn't
you say? And those photos I am sure are 50+% of that reasoning.
Keep in mind, before HotShot, there were no sites on THEM.
It is done in support of the music/work not in an overshadowing.
It is done in respect for and representation of what they have
given to us, the supporters. It is done to show those that DON'T
know what we feel SHAGGY & Crew represents to us. It also
compliments what you might already know. There have been
people who know the music who have corrected
and/or added to what we have here. It keep the knowledge
base ongoing.
