How Many People Visit Your Studio?

My physical counter on the main page to date has just under
45,000 to date. I wish it were more because that figure is generated
on some other fan sites in one month depending on the artist(s).
I am blessed that many have dropped by to look and learn.

How Do You Know How Many Hits Other Sites Receive?

Some site owners will have a numerical counter similar
to what I have. Others tell me in fan site discussion. It will be located
near the bottom of all webpages the main page. Since this is where
the most hits are generated, that is where you want to place it.

Do You Have Statistical Breakdowns On Your Studio?
How Often Do You Check It?

Yes I do and I always have. It stems from me being a supporter
site owner prior to this one. I use WebTrends Live.com now.
It gives me countries that have visited, popular visit times,
referring URL's (how visitors arrived), and loads more. No personal information, like emails or names. It also aids in determining
what screen resolution, browser and platforms are being used as well.
All of this is needed to give every one the exact same look and feel.
I used to check it daily because it was so interesting to see all
the countries I did not know had computers actually visiting.
I have a direct link to a World map still... to look some sections up. LOL
It gives me day, week, and month breakdowns. So I check weekly
now, when time permits. It is always there so I can look anytime
and for any date back to when I first signed on.

Do They Know About These Statistics?

When I saw them in April I mentioned it. I am sure
it is long forgotten nor is it cared about as busy as they
are right now. But I have made it known in print to them.

What Countries Have Visited Thus Far Besides The USA?

Wow, that list is LONG. But, I will name a few.
Croatia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Trinidad &Tobago,
all parts of Africa, Finland, Canada, The Netherlands, Mexico,
Australia, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Costa Rica
and yes, Jamaica are in the smaller breakdown of countries.
And that is just this month (Dec. '01) alone to date!! This list
is SOME of the countries, not all of them. Whenever they
visit a country, I get hits like crazy during that time from that country.

Can I View Your Statistical Report(s)?

It is password protected, No. The only people
I would allow to view it are people relating to the Crew
and/or another web designer that I know.

Where Is The Language Translator?

I don't have one. It costs money! LOL, but I am serious, loads.

Please Explain How You Get All Your Information In Detail

ALL known search engines, all concert venues, all ticket selling agents,
all entertainment, music, and fan sites, MCA, shaggyonline.com,
and any other music related resources on and offline to bring
you all the information on their MUSIC! Also loads of supporter contributions.

How/Where Can I Purchase The Crew CD's?

Let me start by saying this. Rayvon and Brian & Tony
have solo effort CD's on the market BEFORE 'HotShot'. Now, I use
artistdirect.com, cdnow.com, towerrecords.com and towerrecords.com.uk.
For vinyl, I use Selector's Choice.

Are You Lying In Here/OR Doing This To Get
Publicity Site Wise Or Personally?

NO to either. You don't know me and I don't know you.
And if it came to all that, the answer would still be NO!
I have no reason to lie about ANYTHING in this Studio
or off of it. I have a personality such that I need no publicity.
It publicizes itself. LOLRH! As far as the Studio's publicity, it will
speak for itself. I am listed in EVERY search engine under SHAGGY
no more than #10. And that is where you want to be. After that people
rarely look any further, I learned. MCA has me listed
in their sites (FINALLY) and that counts heavy as well.
I am recognized by Yahoo, MSN, Artist Direct.com, Sonicnet.com,
The GAP and a host of other major companies. I have been
personally contacted by these companies for various reasons regarding
the Crew. The Studio is listed in over 1500+ sites relating to music,
entertainment, Caribbean and Jamaican topics. I think that right there
publicizes me and the Studio quite enough. But... if supporters don't visit,
what good is all that publicity no matter how it is generated?

How Do/Did You Get All These Contacts?

Major FREE insertion in ALL the web sources for searching. Then word
of mouth. People like it they are going to tell someone else, I hope...
Every time I visit a Jamaican/Caribbean/music/entertainment site
and DO NOT see The Crew listed, I plug it. Ok, within reason.
I write webmasters for usage of items, etc. on/in The Studio.
I also write people to verify information and or correct it, if need be.
Keep in mind, I know how to play in this game from way back to '96.
It is not new to me, just whom I am doing it for is.
The level is taking me to is new as well.

How Did You Work That Situation?

The times we are in now provoked the need to address
that issue in permanency. I wanted to show that they DO give back.
I made several calls, emailed and faxed to get all parties involved
in a continuation of what The Crew have been doing. Knowing
that Mrs. Robinson, CEO of The Bustamante Hospital provided
the information helps preserve what has already been started.
It is a wish that hopefully will be continued whether
my Studio assists or not.

What Stands Out Most About Your 2 Chance Meetings With Them?

From my April concert, SHAGGY asking 'Where's the girl with my site?'
Being are few years older than him, that made my LIFE, LOL!
Secondly, it was my first time seeing them LIVE. And I hope it won't be
my last. That concert transformed my thoughts on them that day
as entertainers, artists and MEN. The respect was on a higher and deeper
level after that. I saw sincere, honest people give 1000% of themselves all
for the love of their supporters. From The Today Show taping,
that WHOLE day was a memory etched forever. The trip and ALL it's up's
and down's was funny and exhausting in retrospect. It was great to see
behind scenes on how that Summer Concert is staged. 3 - 4 AM to noon
is a long day compared the little you actually see on TV. Getting dreadfully
lost in Brooklyn when I was supposed to be in Manhattan was an true
adventure. Thank goodness for a cell phone and one beautiful MAN
bearing with me through it ALL! Lastly, finding out that while lost
on Flatbush Ave, I was on SHAGGY's stomping grounds. I was a block
or so from his High School, staring right at the Baskin Robbins
and the Marine recruiting center while parked and... well....
What a day to remember.

Why Are There No Link Back Pages Set-Up? Do You Swap Links?

Yes and No. I only swap links, banners, etc. IF The Crew
are already established in a particular site or will be, information
in/on the site and/or if my Studio will be listed in it somewhere.

What Jamaican, Caribbean Sites Do/Have You Visited?

I LOVE Jamaicans.com because it aids my learning on everything
as a whole related to the topic. I felt so much more in-depth when
I came out of that site. It filled my quest to learn
but it also refreshed my memory about things I had seen or heard
in my childhood till now. Even though it is not my personal heritage,
I feel very honored to be invited by some of the Jamaican designers
to participate in their sites.
