Why Are There No Photos Of You In Either Site?
Who wants to see me?!?! (Laughs)
Please refer to the above answer.
Why Is Every Page Linked In Here Named 'S' Something?
It started as a play on SHAGGY's name. It grew into a design
challenge after that. That means each time I design a section it
becomes harder to think of a new and exciting 'S' word
for that newly created page. LOLRH!
Which Do You Like More The Music Or The Man?
They both go hand in hand. If there is no man, there is no music.
If there is no music then there is no SHAGGY, entertainer wise.
Now unless he or they go into another field of artistic creativity
with that same name, then it stands as I have stated.
Are You Attracted To Or Dating Anyone In The CREW?
I am attracted to MEN, PERIOD!
It helps if they look good, can sing, cook, clean, can possibly dance,
have a sense of humor, and a few more details too long to list here.
As for dating anyone in The Crew, no I am not.
How Did You Design Your Very First Web Site?
I started using the pre-designed, pre-set HTML pages on such sites
as Geocities and Yahoo, not necessarily those but similar, at that time.
They have set-ups so that if you don't know Web Design/HTML,
you can use pre-formatted pages. I started right there. Pages already
set up for you to just say, add picture, and it adds it. Add link
and it adds it. I got bored real fast with the lack of creative control there.
I moved onto the next phase of creating it all online, which are called
online HTML formers or something close. Sort of pre-formatted
but with more control. Then I tired of that as well. And I pulled out
my HTML for Dummies book, opened NotePad and started writing, blind.
Then I moved up to WordPad because it allowed even more control.
From there I went to Microsoft Works with greater control.
If you are familiar with any of those word document programs,
you know they are blank pages. When you can write
ALL of the HTML in one of them, you are prolific
in your knowledge of how to design a website. Almost....
What Do I Do If I Find An Error Or Want To Add Something?
On almost every page in here is a link to 'Slips...'. This form is
for that purpose ONLY! Please read the disclaimer upon entrance
and follow the rules. Any other usage of that form gets you in hot water.
Do You Really Listen To The Crew's Music?
Yes, I really do and I enjoy their older music much more.
How Much Stuff On The Crew Do You Own?
Here is were the difficulty arises. Too much to list!
I am still attempting to purchase older music and paraphernalia.
Right now on my computer I probably have 400+ photos. I don't look
at them, contrary to popular belief I am sure, they are just stored.
The only time I look at them is to verify that I am not about to get
a duplicate from whatever/whoever the source is. I have several video
tapes of various appearances from '93, from ALL over the world. I have over 50+ CD's, CD singles and such. I own countless photos, press kits,
and magazine articles as well. And more of something still arriving daily.
I repeat, I don't sit and look at this stuff at all. I purchase it,
I scan it for the site and in the collection it goes. I have NO posters
up of him up although I have 10+. There are times when they
all become a blur because I have seen so many photos of them it is ridiculous. LUV THEM ANYHOW!
Have You Ever Talked To Other Web Site
Owners Of The Same Magnitude?
Definitely. When designing my first website, I relied
heavily on one person who had one up almost on the same
subject at that time. She helped me immensely on the do's
and dont's of web design and as far as who I was doing my site on.
She had a total NY Undercover site. I also visited other web designer
sites on all levels. And I still do. It helps me to see what I may need
to add or may not want to add. I encourage them to visit mine
as well. And not just fan sites but I visit all kinds of sites to learn more
on the lines of web designing. I chatted with other fan site owners
in particular to see how much they spend on their sites,
time and money wise, how much input the person(s) they have the site
on has in their site and loads more. It helps you to understand
what you are doing on their level.
When/If You Stop Doing The Studio, Who Will Takeover?
In this case it will be difficult to answer that now.
Reason being on my other site I don't own a domain on it.
So I just move it from server to server and change the links within
the site to reflect so. If I never want to put it up again, I can take it all
down and that's it. No fees associated in any way. Here it is more
of a challenge as I can move it to another server but if if I don't,
I still have to pay for the .com or sell it. Who knows...
Have You Ever Talked To People Who Know/Knew
Michael Or The Crew Personally?
Yes, I have. Some close to them in friendships and who met
them in few instances. I get my share of hate mail too. LOADS.
But, I have met some very wonderful people as a result of having these
sites. From all parts of the world blessings of friendship via the internet
have come in a most wonderful way. I have even met a couple people
offline but they do/did not know them personally. I have chatted via
the phone (whooah, those phone bills, LOL), email and Instant Message
with folks as well. For the record, no personal friend(s), family member(s),
person(s) relating to their artistic form, or etc. have donated information
to the sites. Well, MCA sort of because I moderate
the Official Messy Message Board.
You've Mentioned Receiving Gifts From People, Who, How and Why?
I have received CD's, magazines/articles, video footage, photos
and more JUST for having the site. On Michael's site I received
gifts too but never as many gifts as I have received on this one.
Sometimes all is asked of me is pay postage to ship it to me.
Some just send it and then email me telling me it is on the way
or vice versa. Some want to swap. It depends. Who? Supporters
of the music and/or The Crew. Mystery packages arrive as well.
Do You Like Moderating The Message Board?
How Did You Start Doing It And Why?
A new question that just came in my email.
And a loaded one at that. Let's start backwards.
I started moderating on January 24, '00. I was asked by Beankured,
MCA Site Developer who happened to have graduated from my
HS Alma Mater, just 7 years later. What a coincidence. I did not know
what I was getting into and boy is it...... well..... a very UNIQUE learning
experience in every aspect of the word.... to say the most and the least.
So, to sum it up, it has it's good and bad days. I have retrieved
a LOT of my information on The Crew from it
musically speaking. And yes some folks have felt the need to get
personal in there as well. Sorry, that is not in this Studio,
on my computer nor in my mind. I have made some acquaintances
and some enemies in there. But the experiences good
or bad has been very helpful in my development of this Studio
and as a human being.
Can I Have Your Instant Message Names/ID?
I said I have talked to folks.
I did not say I would talk to everybody! LOLRH!
