"...Also, the concert was wonderful!!!!!!! The guys who back him up were all so
cool.
All very different, and the thing I liked most was that each and every
one of them seemed
to absolutely love what they were doing. Some groups seem
pissed that they have to "work"
but this was SO not the case. I just
happened to hear that he was playing at this little
place in New Haven, CT
called Toad's Place and it was really fun."

"Thanks for the information. What a great site!
I always loved "Oh Carolina" and my friends hated it. This includes my son's father ,his buddies, and my best friend Karen. I should also say that they
are all Marines. When I found out that he had been a Marine as well I couldn't wait to tell them
and now they won't let me play anything else!
So I read on your site that Shaggy would like
to own a topless bar....what a coincidence...I bartend in one. Perhaps I'll catch in there one day.
anyways thanks for the info ...see ya!"

"I've seen Shaggy twice in concert and each venue was so different from
the other, yet,
he has the charisma and talent to make each concert exciting
and memorable. When he's out on stage,
he instantly connects with the
audience. The first time I saw him was in Poughkeepsie at The Chance and the
second time was at the pier at South Street Seaport in NYC. At The Chance, I
spoke to him after the concert and he seems to be very down to earth and
friendly. Up until his last two hits,
I was surprised at how underrated he
was and I am so happy that he finally is getting the recognition he so
totally deserves. I can tell by your website that you must be one of his
biggest fans.
I hope he's checked it out. Bye. "

...Fan sites increase artist/band exposure -- creating a more marketable presence among
legions of potential fans. In other words, while official sites are necessary...
fan sites, or unofficial sites, serve as an integral part of the promotional process.

"Shaggy, I was very impressed with your performance at MGM Studios at the taping
of the Rosie Odonnell Show FEBRUARY 25. My 7 year old daughter kept asking me to buy
her your CD. I was about to do so this weekend but now that you have given her a complimentary
one I wanted to say thank you. Keep up the good work, and continue spreading the POSITIVE VIBES."

"Well I'll admit that when shaggy first came out I loved him then after a while it wore off.
But my friends were like well we are opening up for him would you like to come, and of course I said yes and I've got to say he really puts on a good show I also love that he put in a little Bob Marley
in his act which he does a terrific job, and also the band is great. Shaggy also invited me and a bunch of other girls on stage during dance and shout. they were just so nice to talk to and taking the time out just for pictures. It's a memory imbeded in my head forever..."

"I wanted to send you an update on the Shaggy concert in Portland.
OH MY GOSH....he was so extremely awesome! The venue did not
do him justice and I hope next time he returns to the city that they
give him the space he deserves! But anyway, he was so hot..he is so cute!
My husband has been running around the house imitating him,
I love it! They did not sell anything at the concert, I was kind of sad
about that, but the concert will live in my memory
for a long time! He performed a great variety of songs and he is
so animated, I did not want it to end! Talk to you later!"

"I have had a look at your site - quite a tribute to Mr. Shagwell!!! ... He was a great laugh
and very funny - always refreshing to meet a celeb who doesn't take
themselves too seriously."

"On the 18th of this month, I traveled on the same plane with Shaggy, Rick and his men to LA.
I was with my son and my mother. Shaggy and his men are real role models for male children.
They were all down to earth and professional. My 75 year old mother even commented on how proud she was to sit with such businessmen.
As a woman, the men were all quite pleasant to look at. Both Rick and Shaggy were most gracious and granted my son autograpks in LAX. Talent and class
is a rare combination these days.
Thanks to Shaggy, Rick and the men."

"Hello, SHAGGY fan... guess I thought I was the only one out there that realllllly was into
SHAGGY this much...
When I stumbled across your web site, I was quite intrigued. You are not out
to destroy this mesmorizing man, to give insight to him and his life (just a bit).
I seemed to have looked high and low for pics and articles and memorabilia,
but haven't found any substantial amount, any ideas???
Would be greatly appreciated....
This would be one individual I think I would do damn near anything to meet and talk with... My God I have his name tattoo'd on the lower back, upper buttock
... How's that for fanfull...
About the tattoo - I did it when I was younger. Thought that if I met him one day and showed it to him, he think I was really a big fan."
